Born in Korea in 1970. Moved to Japan, then to the USA. MFA from University of Texas at Austin in 1998.

During residency
Crosby explored the influences of Japanese girls' manga she received as a child growing up in Japan. The ephemeral and romantic world was reflected in her three-dimensional works.
