Born in Hazebrouck, France in 1967. Graduated from National School of Landscape Architecture, Versailles in 1993. Lives and works in Paris.

During residency
Exploring relationships between public space and people, Courbot took interest in gap between buildings and small corners in parks, and recorded them in video, film, and photographs. Photographs, text, and 16mm film with Play Station (test drive 4) were put together in his installation GPS Global Positioning System.
