Memory of a Pot - under the cherry blossom

Voin Pahoin on tour

Yokohama based arts group Voin Pahoin comes Moriya to host the outside party “Memory of a Pot - under the cherry blossom”. It cooks Manju (Japanese buns) using locally grown material in a huge old pot, which was found in the storage of Manabi-no-sato (building of ARCUS Studio). In 2007, Voin Pahoin interviewed people who remember the pot, discovered a number of old stories in the local community of Moriya, and cooked rice with the pot. Now Voin Pahoin and all participants create another memory of pot.
