Talk with Yuko Hasegawa

Yuko Hasegawa, former Artistic Director of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, and current Chief Curator at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo is internationally known as one of the cutting-edge curators nowadays. Her latest exhibition, “Space for your future” is now on show at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. For the session in ARCUS, she will talk about the “Arts worldwide in 2007” including her own works this year.

Born in Hyogo. Educated in Kyoto University and Graduate School of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Worked at Art Tower Mito Contemporary Art Gallery, Whitney Museum of American Art (USA), and Setagaya Art Museum. Also involved in a number of biennales including Istanbul, Shanghai, Seoul as well as Venice Biennale Japanese Pavilion. Co-author of “Matthew Barney: DR9”, “Kyo-mei, Koko Kara”, “SANAA”, “Jan Fabre”, “Soft Urbanism” etc.
