Biography
Born in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro in 1976. Obtained BFA from Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague, the Netherlands in 1999. Resident artist at Rijksakademie Van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam from 2000 to 2001. Currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
During residency
Took photographic images of the Meiji Kaigakan (Memorial Picture Gallery) in Tokyo. Also recorded activities of Doi Kanae, an activist lawyer working for foreign asylum seekers and detainees, and interviewed foreign workers in Mitsukaido City to explore the state of alien citizens in Japan.
