Biography
Born in Jember, Indonesia in 1974. Obtained BA from Indonesia Institute of Art, Yogyakarta in 1998. Lives and works in Yogyakarta.

During residency
In the Family Tree Project, Kuncoro imagined getting married to a Japanese partner. He combined his own family portraits with Japanese woman's family portraits, to create drawings of 16 children that featured the qualities of both families. In Looking for You Project, he went on search for real children who resembled his 16 future children.
