Biography
Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1973. Obtained MFA from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2000. Lives and works in Kanagawa.

During residency
Sawanobori filmed the video Lily Offering, in which she engaged in a performance of producing lilies from her mouth. Lily, generally associated with the Virgin Mary or death.
