Biography
Born in San Francisco, California in 1964. Obtained MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Pennsylvania in 1994. Lives and works in New York.
During residency
Having been affected by the September 11th terrorist attack, Sheehan explored the power of image as a socio-political assault, and worked on the images of 'my place' and 'position of myself' in the small-scale paintings.
