Biography
Born in Tokyo in 1972. Obtained MFA from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1999. Lives and works in Kanagawa.

During residency
From her impression of Moriya as a "wholesome" and "mysterious" town, Sato looked for a streets that are typically Moriya and named them "Risa Campaign Street" so that people can recognize them as memorable places.
