Biography
Born in Karnataka, India in 1968. Obtained MFA from M.S. University of Baroda, Gujarat in 1995. Lives and works in Haryana.

During residency
Used new materials such as canvas and latex to create inflatable works. In contrast to the artist’s earlier solid works using stones, wood and bricks, new materials gave way to new possibilities of working with motion and energy.

Workshop: Innocent Globe

20 children
Children were invited to paint pictures and text on the 2.5-meter-high, globe-like object. Upon completion of the Innocent Globe, the artist invited the children to his studio on the second floor to view the work from above.
