Biography
Born in Graz, Austria in 1972. Graduated University of Applied Arts, Vienna in 1998. Studied at Berlin University of the Arts, Germany, on scholarship in 1996.

During residency
Traveled through Moriya, Tokyo, Nagano, and Kyoto to record public spaces and landscapes on video and photograph. Copony took special interest in speciif c designs in public spaces, such as stations, where she found both natural and artificial images of plants and vegetation accommodated in the space.
